Professional Portfolio
With nearly 20 years of marketing and communications experience, I transform fragmented efforts into cohesive strategies. I serve as a primary advisor to senior leaders, guiding stakeholders and managing diverse teams to meet our shared enrollment goals. A major part of this work involves translating complex institutional challenges into clear narratives through press releases, speeches, and everyday communications.
I build a strong operational foundation to ensure these communications succeed. The projects on this page demonstrate my ability to oversee large budgets and construct the essential infrastructures required to drive results. You will find examples of how I replaced manual tasks with automated programs and clear reporting, empowering institutions to stop guessing and start making informed decisions.
Finally, the creative samples below show how this strategy comes to life for the prospective student. I have a proven track record of finding and converting unique audiences by ensuring our materials speak directly to their lived experiences. From digital campaigns to print materials and large scale recruitment events, these projects highlight how I align clear messaging with the systems needed to drive sustainable growth.
COLUMBIA BUSINESS SCHOOL
When I joined, I identified that the school’s marketing data was fragmented, lacking the infrastructure to track the effectiveness of our spend. I initiated a complete overhaul to clean up missing information and establish a single source of truth for our performance metrics. By treating this as one cohesive project—integrating data, systems, and reporting—I transformed our ability to make real-time, data-driven decisions that directly impacted recruitment goals.
Key Outcomes:
Replaced Outdated Dashboards: Sunsetted static reports and launched live digital dashboards that now provide real-time transparency on paid ad ROI, messaging effectiveness, and audience insights.
Automated Email Workflows: Built the School's first program-specific email drip campaigns in Slate, moving us away from manual blasts to a scalable, automated nurturing process.
Segmented Communications: Partnered with the Executive Education division to build segmented communication flows in Salesforce, ensuring data connections were robust enough to support targeted messaging.
Improved Vendor Relationships: From my career, I know the detail of what happens behind the scenes at vendors. Replaced agencies the school used with ones that could support our aggressive goals, and had the resources we needed at the right price.
Rebuilt the Marketing Infrastructure
Captured Audiences at Scale
METROPOLITAN COLLEGE OF NEW YORK
In a crowded hyperlocal New York City market, MCNY needed to find and convert niche audiences with limited resources. I stepped in to professionalize the marketing operation by redeveloping vendor relationships and instituting a robust digital advertising strategy that did not exist before. I also overhauled our creative materials to ensure they spoke directly to the audiences in a variety of digital and print formats.
Key Outcomes:
Instituted Full Digital Strategy: Introduced a robust digital marketing mix, using paid marketing and targeted ads to cultivate leads for the first time in the college's history.
Redeveloped Creative Materials: Launched revised digital, print, and out-of-home campaigns, ensuring the branding and messaging effectively resonated with our target demographic.
Optimized Lead Generation: Analyzed digital marketing data to continuously optimize our tactics, resulting in a tangible increase in qualified leads.
Managed Partnerships: Collaborated weekly with vendor partners and stakeholders to ensure our strategy remained focused on customer acquisition and building awareness.
Created Authentic Connections
Building authentic relationships with your audience requires more than just outreach; it requires knowing how to extend an invitation. I create strategies that connect institutions with the public through interesting and relevant communication delivered on the platforms they use. My work focuses on crafting campaigns that do not just "target" audiences but actively invite them to participate.
Connecting highly-segmented audiences to education and cultural experiences
Enhancing awareness with local employers and partner organizations
Launching email campaigns targeting 100K+ prospective students
Leveraging training to champion accessibility and inclusion
Financial and Operational Oversight
Sustainable growth requires a marketing function that is operationally sound and fiscally responsible. I bring a "builder" mindset to my work, implementing systems that ensure every dollar of the budget directly contributes to revenue attainment and strategic goals. I specialize in diagnosing process gaps and creating the infrastructure needed to scale.
Managing a $2.7 million annual budget
Diagnosing process gaps and building scalable marketing infrastructures
Achieving annual savings of over $250,000 in print/mailing costs
Supervising and mentoring team members to drive performance
Directing allocation of resources to maximize ROI on paid campaigns

June 2024 - Poets & Quants
Columbia is the only top US full-time MBA program that also offers a January intake for its full-time program. This option is attractive for candidates who are eager to matriculate ASAP (January is earlier than the September intake), such as those who are already further along professionally. Acceptance rates are higher for the January intake than for the fall intake.
As Artificial Intelligence revolutionizes the business landscape, Columbia Business School is staying at the forefront of this transformation. One example is through their Digital Future Initiative, which is a key part of a strategy to promote leadership in Al and data analytics. This initiative helps organizations, governments, and communities understand and leverage digital disruption. Electives in the MBA curriculum are designed to prepare students for the digital future, with courses focusing on Al, data analytics, and digital business strategies. -
September 2017 - Cardinal Stritch University
Several rounds of signings, handshakes, and smiles defined 2016, when Stritch administrators sat alongside colleagues from Milwaukee Area Technical College, Gateway Technical College, and Waukesha County Technical College to formalize new agreements that allow students to seamlessly transfer from associate programs at the colleges to bachelor’s programs at Cardinal Stritch University.
“These articulation agreements provide an academic and career pathway for students to reach a higher earning potential and helps provide a talented workforce to meet society’s growing needs,” said President Dr. James P. Loftus. “They are partnerships for education, for jobs and for a better community.”
Chris Head, coordinator of Prior Learning Assessment and Articulation, said the University now has more than two dozen agreements in place with colleges throughout Wisconsin, with more in the pipeline. “These agreements include program-to-program articulations, concurrent enrollment for nursing, and partnerships that lower cost and increase access for associate degree completers from the partnering technical colleges,” Head said.

Packaged promotional products sent by mail are an excellent way to create tangible connections with your audience. That’s because they have a different kind of impact. Imprinted mailers create a sense of excitement when first received, and the products included inside create continued engagement with recipients. They also provide a way to reach and activate your audience other than relying on cluttered email inboxes.
However, mailers can be daunting and time-consuming to plan without the right considerations upfront. Thankfully, with our years of experience producing successful mailings, we are uniquely positioned to help. We create unique, interesting and impactful mailers, from a wide range of packaging, kitting, and mailing service options. We know how to leverage promotional product mailings in ways that delight, inform, and help calls to action be seen by your audience. The promotional products included also boost brand awareness and create long-term exposure as the items are used, displayed and shared.
