SMALL TASKS WITH A BIG IMPACT
Sometimes it's easy to overlook the reach of seemingly small activities. Here are some of my favorite projects that ended up having a larger impact than I planned. To see more, explore my portfolio and read my resume.
- A Viewbook Seen Around the World
Content I wrote for the UW-Madison Viewbook has been read by advisors to the President of the United States, representatives in Congress and the Senate. This also includes the Governor of the State of Wisconsin and local officials in Milwaukee. The list also includes business leaders and nonprofit managers in Wisconsin, New York, California, Illinois, Minnesota, China and India.
- Planning, Promoting and Hosting Large Events
Students and their families attended several large-scale events held at Parsons School of Design and The New School in New York City, including National Portfolio Days for art and design students and Open Houses with guest lists exceeding 1,000 attendees.
- Developing Emails for a World-Class Design School
Developed and sent a series of recruitment emails delivered to future students, families and school counselors interested in learning about the Parsons School of Design between 2009-2011.
- Promotional Items That Go the Distance
As the Recruitment and Media Services Manager at UW-Madison, I developed a new series of mailings for prospective students that included several variations of Bucky window clings which are still seen on cars in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota.
